Niels Poortinga is a creative and explorer with a broad interest in different creative fields such as graphic design, art, building, painting, woodworking and more. In his daily life most things evolve around nature and living outdoors. A big passion besides creating is hiking and cycling which he started to document most recently.
Starting off in 2014 with his own graphic design studio while picking up more and more interest along the way, he slowly merged into various disciplines. He likes to share his knowledge by giving creative workshops.
In recent years he started living more and more outdoors, tuning in with the need inside himself that was always there: the desire to explore and to be connected with nature. For the last two years he calls his campervan home and by doing long-distance travels by foot, bicycle and with a tent he was brought more to the essence of life. Right now he’s working to integrate the love and passion for the outdoor lifestyle and nature, and with it the simplicity that it brings along, with the work that he does. This is something which may not fully visible on this website yet but it's on its way. Furthermore he likes to occupy himself with social and interactive projects or to bring people closer to one another by creating something together.
